It's not college education that drives people to succeed in their own home business. It's not blue blood that drives people to succeed in their own home based business. It's not genius. It helps to have certain aptitudes and skills, like basic math, but even if these things are absent, they can be learned.

Of those, about 3,349,000 get paid to have a work at home job and about double that, 6,966,800 people paid themselves to work in their own home based businesses.
Of all the people that work at home full or part time, the highest percentage of people that owned their own home-based businesses was people who had LESS than a high school education. 58.9% of them owned their own home business. The next largest group of self-employed workers or business owners was 54%, people with no more education than high school graduation. In the group of people with only some college or an associates degree, 46.7% of them owned their own home based business, and for those with substantial formal education, a Bachelor's degree or more, only 24.1% of them owned their own home based business.
So spend some time with yourself taking honest stock of what you -- as a unique individual -- are good at, what you enjoy doing and what you believe in. If you can find a home-based business concept that can be profitable based on those things, you may be destined for huge success.
